Granite overlays

After hosting my parents, sister, family and some friends of mine for Christmas, I realized that my house needed some changes. We are not in our 2-story colonial house for about 6 years old and lived always happy with - just been happy about - our plastic-based counters in the kitchen and first floor half-bath. They were quite durable and relatively easy to clean, but not really good with you over the dish looks like. Since January there, and the weather is important to us, to some degree, I did not want invasive design made in the coldest months - without knowing how vulnerable it would be the house (eg to leave my heating costs). So I decided on granite overlay.

wished we knew we wanted to Granite counters in both kitchen and bathroom, but apparently wanted to spread the impact of individual, the choice of colors that were quite different, but still have the space in question, we know. Earlier I had seen a dark color, even black in some cases, granite kitchens, which gave them a really shiny, elegant finish. I admired how the dark surface does not always seem to be excessively dirty or stained from food preparation (not to say they were hiding, but it seemed accurate representation cooking to offer). For some reason that we chose a dark gray for our kitchen countertops and island, we had white cabinets, clear glass that was on the front page of our different cups, glasses and plates (and a white plastic disk) so setting off the white cabinets with black granite overlay, looks fantastic.

The bathroom was a delicate process that we wanted a granite overlay, but does not want to duplicate that feeling accessible to the kitchen. We wanted a bit closer, quieter look for the bathroom. One thing our guests instead of them feel that they are sometimes in the public toilet in a hotel lobby (they have granite counter tops, right?) Welcomed. My wife has always been a fan of small rank ferns, or what seasonal plants can be found in the bathroom to give it a new sense was well-oxygenated. Therefore we have decided on a light brown color to the bathroom granite counter overlay. Even if we add a relatively muted colors, we were pleased how our new bathroom to was not only attractive and studied, but they also created a certain air of relaxation - what we end up going for.

By choosing a simple overlay granite we could get two rooms ready in just a few days and it was not really a mess at all. Dark, elegant colors for the kitchen works well, and have done so down to earth, calm colors to the bathroom wonders for the level we had a bathroom down once. I recommend that you choose granite overlay, if you believe in your calculator Re-do, and I recommend selecting colors that match the whole style and motifs in your home. Enjoy the conversion!
